Rogue Republic Cosmetics

In 2011, founder Allison Gretsuk began experimenting with making her own cosmetics. As a performer and makeup artist with a chronic illness that caused sensitivity, she needed vibrant, multi-functional cosmetics that were gentle but able to stand up to hot stage lights and demanding conditions that often put even the best products in jeopardy of creasing, smearing, and migrating.

 

She also wanted these products to be vegan. Living a vegetarian lifestyle for 17 years, she believes that the last place animal byproducts were necessary is in our beauty routines. The products that materialized stood up to the challenge and friends and family wanted to try it. By May 2012, she made the line of loose pigments available for sale and Rogue Republic became an LLC.

 

Now, almost 3 years later, it's time to bring things up a notch. The new line of pro pressed products is inspired by challenges on-set as a freelance makeup artist, while being easy to use for the every day makeup junkie.
